We use the village hall when we run training sessions and courses for clients. It’s perfectly placed given that our attendees travel from different places across the whole county. The hall has all the elements we need; a big room with lots of tables and chairs, good kitchen facilities (including two dishwashers), and ample parking.

Using the projector, screen and microphones that are available makes set up so easy for us and means we can focus on building relationships with those attending – rather than trying to get the IT equipment working! Access to the outdoors, and the beautiful setting, is a wonderful added bonus.

Godmersham & Crundale Village Hall is an exceptional venue for hosting both private and public events. Having organised and attended numerous gatherings here, I am confident that it stands out as one of the finest venues in the Ashford and Folkestone area.

The facility offers generous parking space, with provisions for overflow parking when required. Its expansive communal grounds provide an excellent setting for outdoor activities during favorable weather, adding versatility to event planning.

Inside, the main hall is spacious and comfortably accommodates up to 100+ guests. It is equipped with modern amenities, including a projector with a motorised digital screen, a professional sound system with disco lighting, and microphones, ensuring a seamless experience for presentations and entertainment. Adjacent to the hall is a fully equipped kitchen with essential appliances for food preparation and refreshments. Additionally, a smaller room is available for breakout sessions or intimate gatherings. The venue also maintains clean and well-appointed toilets and changing facilities for guests’ convenience.

The online booking portal is intuitive and user-friendly, providing clear visibility of availability and simplifying the reservation process. We hired the hall for our daughter's 10th birthday party and found the venue to be both beautiful and well equipped. Communication was superb and the logistics were very straightforward. I have been booking your hall for parties since 2018 and in all cases I have been very happy with the management. Your manager, Dick Johnson is both helpful, friendly and easily contactable. Besides, the hall is very spacious, in a very good environment, plenty of parking spaces. The kitchen Is well equipped with modern facilities. Booking is online and the website is user friendly. And if there are any issues, Dick is very quick to get It sorted. Hence your hall is always my first choice.

This was a fabulous village hall to host my daughters birthday party. We were impressed with the size of the hall space and there is also a second area within the hall where we were able to serve food from.

The facilities available were great, including a fully equipped kitchen and plenty of tables and chairs to use as needed. Everything was clean, easy to find and use. There is plenty of parking which was needed for the 35 plus guests in attendance. We held a party in the winter so stayed inside. There is a stunning outdoor space which we will consider for future hire.

Booking was extremely straight forward and communication between myself and the village hall hire was very prompt. Many thanks.

We love hiring the hall for our children’s parties and have used it a few times now. We have had bouncy castles, craft tables and gaming parties in the hall and it always gets compliments for its size, additional room to the side (which we use for food) and cleanliness.

Questions are always responded to quickly, the booking process is straight forward and access to the hall on the day is easy and well explained. There is more than enough parking and the beautiful outside space is an added bonus!

We had an amazing time, the hall was great for our small family gathering. The booking for the hall was super easy and the place by itsself was easy to locate and access. All the necessary required equipments were available and easily operational.

The space was huge as we ended up using the backyard fGodmersham Village Hallor ours wedding photoshoot. Plenty of parking spaces available with an additional parking space if needed.

We hired Godmersham village hall for our wedding and everything was quite simple amazing. From the complete ease of being able to book the hall, to the incredible communication throughout and the space itself. The grounds around the hall are perfect and there’s SO much space. We had ample room to add a 9m x 9m marquee and it didn’t make a dent in the space!

We had a fish and chip van also which again had plenty of space for it with easily accessible outside power sockets available. There’s a built in sound system which is super easy to use and is soooo handy to not need a DJ! We had the most incredible wedding day and we honestly wouldn’t change a thing.

Everyone commented on how beautiful the space was and it really is a wonderful hall for whatever you need it for. 1000/10 would recommend.

We recently hired Godmersham & Crundale Village Hall for a birthday party and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. Booking the hall online was incredibly easy and straightforward; their website made the whole process quick and stress free.

The hall itself is a great space, very clean and well maintained. We had a large bouncy castle set up outside which was perfect to keep the kids entertained, there is loads of on site parking which made it super convenient for all our guests.

The facilities are excellent; clean kitchen area, tables and chairs provided, also all cutlery. The outdoor area is also lovely with loads of space especially for events in the warmer months.

Highly recommend this venue for parties, events, or community gatherings. We'll definitely be booking again.

We used Godmersham & Crundale Village Hall for our daughter's 5th Birthday party and it was such a treat. It had all the facilities you need and more. The kitchen had all the equipment we needed, the space inside and outside was fabulous. Enough space for a bouncy castle, a craft table, tables for food and a dance area.

The online booking system was easy to use and lots of parking. The best part was the outside space and we will definitely be back!

The hall and the location itself was very beautiful. I'm glad I chose this place to organize the event, as everyone was really impressed with the hall and the location. Lots of parking space. Toilets were very clean and everything was easily accessible for our convenience.

The music system and lighting were great. All the kids enjoyed playing in the massive field and exploring around the field, picking apples and pears. I would definitely recommend others to book this place for an event. Next time I plan to organize a BBQ party here.

This hall was perfect!

We booked this hall for our daughters 5th Birthday Party for about 70 guests. Even with the weather not on our side we were still able to have a "funhouse" bouncy castle indoors and still had planety of room for games, crafts and even pass the parcel with 30+ kids! The gardens are so spacious and even with the weather the kids still were able to play some of the garden games outside.

Booking was super easy and all done online. Nothing was every to much to ask and Dick Johnson was very welcoming and always happy to help! Definitely booking again for next year! ❤️

We had our wedding ceremony at Godmersham Village Hall and couldn’t be happier with the venue! The hall itself is clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated – we comfortably seated 100 guests inside with room to spare. The kitchen is incredibly well equipped, with extensive beer fridges, a good-sized freezer, plenty of crockery and glassware, and great dishwashing facilities – everything we needed for a smooth and stress-free day.

The outdoor space is a real highlight: absolutely massive, with room for two large marquees, lawn games, and still plenty of open field left over. The views are beautiful and added a lovely atmosphere to the celebration. There was also ample parking for all of our guests, which made logistics a breeze.

It was very easy to book online, and Dick was incredibly helpful and accommodating throughout – responsive, friendly, and great to work with.

We’re so glad we chose Godmersham Village Hall – it’s a real gem and worked perfectly for our wedding!

The village hall was everything we needed for our wedding party. It had all the facilities we wanted, providing tables, chairs, a great kitchen space for a bar to set up and the smaller room was brilliant for the buffet.

The hall itself provided enough room for our 90 guests to have a sit down meal which we could quickly turn around for a disco in the evening. We were able to put a bouncy castle on the field and have loads of outside games and have room for people to chill out outside on a lovely summer's day.

The ample parking and being able to leave cars there overnight took a lot of the stress out of things too. This is a great place to hold a party as the setting is so beautiful too.

We had a lovely time last Friday. The hall was nice and clean and all the instructions were clear and easy to follow. I especially appreciate the timely responses to my queries and how easy and efficient the booking process was. It definitely took the stress out of the planning process.

The hall as well as the external patio area are gorgeous. Being able to sit outside to soak in the beautiful sunset while enjoying the good company of friends definitely made for a memorable evening.

We used the hall for our daughters 2nd and 5th birthday party and it was perfect both times.

We had so many compliments about the space, the outside space is fantastic for bouncy castles and garden games, while inside we had crafting tables, face painting, didi cars and a large table for food. Despite having more than 30 children at the party it was still very calm with plenty of space for everyone.

We used the projector, disco lights and sound system to really make the most of what the hall had to offer and it really boosted the theme of her party. I would recommend it to anyone!

Me and my partner were looking for a venue for our wedding and when someone suggested Godmersham and Crundale Village Hall and we went to visit, we instantly knew this was the one for us.

The booking was very easy and the treasurer was always very helpful and responsive when required. The hall is surrounded in natural beauty and is perfect for photo opportunities.

The hall came with everything you'd need, chairs, tables, fully equipped kitchen and was accessible for some of our less mobile guests. We would definitely recommend!

We recently held our son's fourth birthday party here and I couldn't recommend this venue enough—it was truly perfect for a 4-year-old's celebration.

We had a very large group, with around 100 guests in attendance, and the space was more than adequate to handle everyone comfortably. The main hall offered plenty of room for all the activities. The facilities were excellent overall, and having the Kitchen and Extra Hall as a bonus was incredibly useful for food prep and separating a quiet area for younger guests. We also appreciated the plentiful and enough parking spaces, which made arrival easy for everyone. The outdoor area was ideal. We set up an 18ft x 12ft bouncy castle outside, and it fit perfectly, keeping the children thoroughly entertained.

Booking the venue was simple and easy to book online, and for any extra requirements, Dick was wonderfully helpful and ensured everything we needed was sorted out. Highly recommended for anyone planning a large, fun-filled event!"
