Car Parking

We have two car parks. The Main Hall Car Park can accommodate up to 30 cars, and we have an overflow car park (grass surface) which can take up to 60 cars. There are Disabled Parking Spaces reserved by the main entrance.

Outside Space

Godmersham & Crundale Village Hall is situated in 5 acres of fields offering an abundance of space of Marquees, Outside Activities, Games, Walks etc….

The Main Hall is beautifully appointed, in excellent decorative order, and complies with all relevant regulations. It can comfortably seat 150 in a theatre setting or up to 130 in a banquet setting. There are four openable roof lights for ventilation. Each line of strip lights can be dimmed, and there are three double opening doors on the South side that give access to the Recreation Field and Patio area. There are also attractively coloured acoustic baffle-boards to the ceiling to ensure the hall’s acoustic properties are high quality for music and voice.

- Disco & Lighting

The main hall has:
  • a full set of sound activated disco lights
  • Mood Lighting
  • Sound system / PA
  • PC, digital projector and large pull down screen.

So no need to hire a DJ for your event should you prefer to manage musical entertainment yourself! All you need is an MP3 player or similar device with a playlist and a standard headphone socket. Simply plug in and it’s is ready to use!

Likewise, if presenting, just bring your files on a memory stick, transfer to our PC and present away!

- Stage

We have a collapsable stage offering a perfect platform for live bands and ensembles in particular, but also excellent for theatre groups, speakers and comedians.

The John Sunley Room

The John Sunley Room seats approximately 20 people and is ideal for meetings. It can also open directly to the Main Hall if required - particularly useful for setting up buffets.

The Kitchen

The Kitchen has been designed with professional catering in mind and, should you choose to use outside caterers, they should be more than happy with the facilities offered

Equipment includes:
  • a large double fridge
  • three under counter bottle coolers
  • two ovens
  • large induction hob
  • industrial dishwasher
  • domestic fridge.

There is also a generous service hatch

Tables, Chairs & Place Settings

The booking price includes the use of:

  • 10 rectangular Go-Pak tables (seat 6-8)
  • 15 five foot diameter round tables (seat 6-8)
  • 140 soft furnished chairs.

We also have a certain number of plates, cutlery and glasses, use of which is included in the booking price. However, if you are holding a formal banquet requiring uniformity of style and colour, you may wish to hire the items in externally. You should also arrange your own soft furnishings such as table cloths and napkins.

IT & Media

The hall has some really great features in respect of technology

  • Unlimited Superfast Broadband - there is WiFi in most areas
  • Ethernet ports in the Main Hall and John Sunley Room.
  • Digital projector and screen which, via our PC, allows you to plug and play via a memory stick or DVD
  • Alternatively stream video and music via an ethernet connection.
  • Full set of sound activated disco lights and mood lighting with sound board - simply bring a device with a 3.5mm jack and you can play your own playlist.
